Missouri Coalition for the Environment

The Missouri Coalition for the Environment is Missouri's independent citizens' environmental organization for clean water, clean air, clean energy, and a healthy environment. The Coalition works to protect and restore the environment through education, public engagement, and legal action. They are a trusted environmental advocacy agency, an informed educator, a passionate advocate, and a state-wide partner working with allied organizations and initiatives around the state. They deliver vital information to thousands of Missourians on issues that affect our food, our water, our air, our health, and the environment. They promote a common sense approach to protecting and restoring the environment and upholding individuals' rights to make informed, independent decisions about environmental issues and policy. Key program areas are water and safe energy; which tie directly into food and farm policies, as well as climate change and carbon pollution issues.
